In December 2021, terrice hosted a pop-up show and sale on the outdoor patio of the buzzy Marigold Cafe, located along the Lochside Trail bike path in Saanichton. This Covid-safe event was made possible by the cafe’s co-founders, Red Seal chef Ryan Hayter and his wife Jenny. Despite single digit temperatures, there was a steady flow of pottery-loving shoppers and coffee drinkers. By design, 20% of pottery sale proceeds was donated to the Canadian Red Cross for BC’s Extreme Weather Response relief and recovery efforts. With a dollar for dollar match from both the provincial government and the federal government of Canada, the donation totalled more than C$1400.
